NANS Ogun JCC Hails SSG for Youth Development Support

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ogun State Joint Campus Council (JCC), has extended congratulations to the Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, describing him as a dedicated public servant whose contributions to governance and youth development have positively impacted the state.

Commendation for Commitment to Youth and Education

In a statement released on behalf of students across Ogun State, the student body praised Talabi for his commitment to the developmental agenda of Governor Dapo Abiodun's administration and his support for educational advancement and youth-focused initiatives. The statement, signed by the Chairman of NANS Ogun JCC, Comrade Tijani Habeebullahi, noted that the SSG had distinguished himself through exemplary leadership, administrative competence, and unwavering dedication to public service.

According to the association, Talabi's strategic role in government has significantly contributed to the implementation of policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of residents and accelerating development across the state. The student body particularly acknowledged what it described as his responsiveness to issues affecting students and youths, noting that his accessibility and willingness to engage with young people had endeared him to the student community.

Appreciation for Fatherly Guidance

“Nigerian students in Ogun State celebrate a man of excellence and vision whose service to humanity and the state continues to leave lasting impacts,” the statement said. The association added that Talabi’s fatherly guidance and support for initiatives promoting education and youth empowerment have earned him respect among students and other stakeholders in the education sector.

While felicitating the SSG on the occasion, NANS Ogun JCC prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and good health for him as he continues to serve the state and contribute to national development. The association also expressed optimism that Talabi would sustain his commitment to youth development and policies that promote educational growth in Ogun State.

The statement was conveyed through the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of NANS Ogun JCC, Adebayo AbdulMajid, who reiterated the association’s appreciation of the SSG’s contributions to governance and his engagement with students across the state. Talabi, a key member of the Ogun State Executive Council, has been widely acknowledged for his role in coordinating government activities and supporting the implementation of programmes under the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
