A young Nigerian woman who disconnected from social media to prepare for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination has shared her result online, sparking a wave of reactions.
Seven Months of Sacrifice
The candidate, identified on TikTok as @astranotfound, revealed that she stayed offline and ghosted her friends for seven months to focus entirely on the entrance examination. She noted that she sacrificed her social life completely for the two-hour computer-based test.
2026 UTME Result Breakdown
Taking to TikTok, she uploaded a screenshot of her result showing an aggregate score of 272. The breakdown includes 63 in English Language, 77 in Physics, 62 in Biology, and 70 in Chemistry.
Despite the score being well above the national average, the candidate expressed dissatisfaction given her intensive preparation. She wrote: "Went offline for months. Ghosted everyone. Read like a mad person for 7 months just to prepare for this exam that lasts 2 hours. I expected more but anyways..."
