Greensprings School has strongly reiterated its dedication to producing players for Nigeria's national youth teams through its annual football camp, with the 12th edition scheduled to commence soon. The school revealed during the week that its football development programme will be held from April 26 to May 1, 2026. This initiative, which has trained over 2,200 children over the past decade, integrates structured football education with mentorship and academic opportunities, creating a holistic approach to youth development.

The programme has significantly strengthened the football ecosystem by training over 200 Lagos State coaches with international expertise, who now foster young talents across grassroots communities. The long-term effects are increasingly visible, with four alumni currently playing in Europe while continuing their education, and five having represented Nigeria at the youth level.
Notable success stories include Jubril Azeez and Light Eke, who are now part of the national U-17 team, highlighting the camp's crucial role in cultivating future national stars. Additionally, Greensprings School has awarded full academic scholarships to 13 outstanding participants, ensuring that talent is supported both on and off the pitch.
