An old video of the late Nollywood actor Kola Oyewo has resurfaced online, showing him opening up about his health struggles. In the interview with his junior colleague Kunle Afod from 2024, Oyewo revealed that he battled prostate enlargement, which ultimately left him impotent.

Oyewo, who passed away at the age of 80, explained that after various tests and surgeries, doctors had to remove his testicles to save his life. He first noticed difficulty urinating in July 2019 and visited his family doctor in Ilaramokin, Ondo State, who recommended further testing.

In the video, Oyewo also mentioned that he could no longer engage in sexual activities and had to urinate through a bypass created in his urinary tract. Despite these challenges, he felt better and continued to participate in several movie projects after surgery.
