A young lady has made a serious allegation against a Catholic priest, claiming he demanded sex in exchange for shelter after she was chased out of her uncle's house in Lagos.

In an interview on the Outside the box podcast, she alleged that she sought refuge at a popular Catholic church in Lagos, hoping to spend the night after being left with nowhere to go. According to her, the priest told her she could only stay if she first slept with him.
“When my uncle chased me out, a Catholic priest told me I had to sleep with him before I could stay at the church,” she recounted.

The lady said she refused the alleged demand and chose to spend the night elsewhere, adding that the experience shattered her trust in religious institutions.
