Kaduna Senator Katung Seeks Re-election, Backs Tinubu and Sani

Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, representing the Kaduna south senatorial district, has officially declared his intention to seek re-election to the Senate. He also pledged his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani’s re-election campaigns in the 2027 general elections.

The senator made the declaration during a meeting with the Local Government Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from his senatorial district, held in Abuja. Katung stated that his decision to seek another term is based on the need to consolidate the gains achieved so far, complete ongoing initiatives, and continue delivering quality representation to the people of Southern Kaduna.

Renewed Hope and Sustain Agenda

Katung emphasized that the Renewed Hope agenda of President Tinubu and the Sustain agenda of Governor Uba Sani require experienced and committed lawmakers to drive these policies to the grassroots level. He called on party stakeholders to mobilize aggressively ahead of 2027, stressing that Southern Kaduna must remain firmly aligned with the APC to protect the developmental strides already secured.
