Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has made startling allegations about her recent detention, claiming she was secretly arrested and moved from Abuja to Lagos to hide her whereabouts. In a detailed video shared on her Instagram page in the early hours of December 25, 2025, the actress narrated a series of events she links to controversial clergyman, Pastor Chris Okafor.
The Chain of Events Leading to the Arrest
According to Ogala, the incident began with a dispute involving a househelp agent. She explained that over a period of four months, the agent had been allegedly extorting her, providing three different domestic workers. The actress stated she only became aware of the extortion in December 2025.
Her suspicions grew when she discovered her househelp was not living according to their agreement and had been involved with an electrician provided by her estate management inside her home while she was away. Ogala added that the househelp's sudden insistence on leaving, contrary to their prior arrangement, preceded her arrest.
The actress claimed that when she confronted the agent, the situation escalated rapidly. She alleged the agent contacted individuals linked to Pastor Chris Okafor after learning about Ogala's ongoing social media dispute with the pastor.
Details of the Detention and Secret Transfer
Ogala described how men arrived at her residence with a search warrant and proceeded to thoroughly search her home. She noted that the officers claimed to be looking for specific items but only found cigarettes. The actress pointed out that the lead officer was the same individual who had previously arrested social media critic, VeryDarkMan.
She was initially taken to the First CID in Abuja. There, she presented voice recordings as evidence that the agent had been extorting her. Despite this, she claimed a female police officer insisted on her detention. Ogala was placed in an isolated room instead of a regular cell and was not permitted to return home.
Her phones were seized by someone she identified as a tracker, leading her to believe the devices were bugged. Subsequently, she was transported to Lagos without her phones. During the journey, police officers allegedly pleaded with her to cover her face.

Upon arrival in Lagos, Ogala stated she was kept in an isolated office to prevent anyone from discovering her location. She repeatedly requested her phones to contact her lawyer and family, but these requests were denied by the officers.
"I was kept in an isolated office in Lagos to prevent anyone from knowing my location," Ogala recounted. She added that feeling unwell at the time, her continued pleas for her phones to seek help were ignored.

This incident is not the first time Ogala has made serious claims against Pastor Chris Okafor. She had previously accused him of receiving $60,000 through his church account from individuals involved in fraudulent activities. Ogala alleged there was a 10% cut agreement, which the pastor later violated due to greed. She further claimed that when Interpol officers came to arrest him over the matter, a panicked Okafor called her for help, and she used her connections to stop the arrest.
