Legal practitioner Blessing Agbomhere has officially declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Etsako Federal Constituency in Edo State under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The declaration, which took place at the Auchi Public Field in Etsako West Local Government Area, was announced in a statement issued by the Blessing Support Organizations (BSO). The group described the event as the dawn of a new era of leadership centered on purposeful governance, renewed hope, and strategic development for the constituency.
The BSO portrayed Agbomhere as a dedicated party loyalist, grassroots mobilizer, and advocate for youth inclusion, noting that his political engagement and service have earned him widespread support across Etsako. It further emphasized that his professional background as a lawyer and strategist positions him to deliver effective representation at the National Assembly, with a focus on inclusive development, economic empowerment, infrastructure renewal, improved security, and expanded access to federal opportunities.
“As a lawyer, communicator, strategist, and passionate patriot, he possesses the experience, intellect, courage, and energy required to provide impactful representation,” the statement read.
The organization stressed that Etsako needs responsive leadership that understands the unique challenges of its communities and is capable of advancing practical solutions. It therefore called on party stakeholders, youths, women groups, market associations, professionals, and community leaders across Etsako East, Etsako West, and Etsako Central to support the aspiration.
“This movement is bigger than politics. It is about restoring confidence in leadership, empowering our people, and securing a brighter future for the next generation,” the statement added.
Top APC figures and party stalwarts in the state were reportedly in attendance at the declaration event. The group expressed confidence that with broad-based support, Agbomhere would emerge victorious and provide effective, people-oriented representation for the constituency.
