Dr. Oluwatosin Ademola Ojo, a vascular surgeon and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mpumalanga Province, South Africa, has commended the people of Ekiti State for their preparedness ahead of the forthcoming governorship election.

Call for Mass Participation

Ojo urged residents to come out en masse and participate in the democratic process, describing it as a vital pathway towards achieving a better and stronger democracy. He charged all stakeholders to shun violence before, during, and after the election, stressing that Ekiti people remain one big family with a shared destiny.

Priority on State's Interest

According to him, the interest and success of Ekiti State should remain the priority of every citizen, irrespective of political differences. “The world is watching the outcome of the Ekiti governorship election scheduled to hold this weekend, and I believe Ekiti, known as the Fountain of Knowledge, will once again demonstrate its values and maturity to Nigeria and Africa,” he said.
