Businessman Brutally Murdered by Unknown Assailants in Adamawa State

Family and friends are in deep mourning after the tragic murder of a businessman, David Dahbille Ndevino, in Adamawa State. The incident occurred on Monday, February 16, 2026, when David was allegedly beaten to death by unknown assailants, leaving the community in shock and demanding answers.

Details of the Attack

According to Nestor Dahni, a source close to the victim, David was attacked while returning home after purchasing goods for his provision shop in Numan. He had hired a motorcyclist to help transport some of the items, as his own motorcycle could not carry everything. As it was getting late, they decided to take a shortcut from Numan to Bille through Kona village.

Tragically, they never reached their destination. Both David and the motorcyclist were ambushed and brutally assaulted. David succumbed to his injuries and died, while the motorcyclist survived but remains unconscious, receiving medical treatment.

Calls for Investigation

Nestor Dahni emphasized that this was not a robbery, as none of David's belongings, including the motorcycles, were stolen. He stated, "We are calling on the government and security agencies to investigate this murder. This was not a robbery gone wrong. We want to know who is responsible for this murder and what their motives were. We know he is gone, but we deserve to know why."

The community is urging authorities to swiftly look into the case to bring the perpetrators to justice and provide closure to the grieving family. David, remembered as an honorable man, is being mourned with prayers for his soul to rest in peace.

This incident highlights ongoing security concerns in the region, underscoring the need for enhanced safety measures and prompt action from law enforcement agencies to prevent such tragedies in the future.
