Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has submitted a list of nineteen nominees for the position of commissioners to the State House of Assembly for screening and approval. The list includes both new and returning nominees, aimed at repositioning the administration to achieve its set goals. Each nominee has a designated portfolio.
The nominees and their portfolios are as follows: Ben Chuks Odoemena (Agriculture); Chukwukadibia Okoye (Budget and Economic Planning); Udoji Amedu (Culture, Entertainment and Tourism); Ekene Ogugua (Education); Clem Aguiyi (Environment); Izuchukwu Okafor (Finance); Adam Obidike (Health); and Law Mefor (Information and Value Reformation).
Others include Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN (Justice and Attorney General); Prof Offornze Amucheazi (Lands); Vin Ezeaka (Local Government and Community Affairs); Prof Charles Ofoegbu (Petroleum and Mineral Resources); Chijioke Ojukwu (Physical Planning and Urban Development); Casmir Agummadu (Power); Okey Ezeobi (Works and Infrastructure); Eddy Ibuzo (Transport); Esther Chinyere Onyekesi (Women Affairs and Social Development); and Patrick Mba (Youth Development and Sports).
